How close is this to the jobsite?
Every one of our homes is within 25 miles of the Terafab site at Gibbons Creek, in the closest city with full services. We give you the drive time for each home before you book.
Will it cost more than a hotel or Airbnb?
Compare one monthly price against a nightly rate times 30. Our homes come furnished with a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, utilities, Wi-Fi and parking, so crews aren't paying for restaurant meals and laundromats on top of rent.
Do you have enough beds for my crew?
We have 16 furnished units with 35 beds. If one home can't fit your whole crew, we put you in several of ours, with one point of contact for all of them.
Are utilities included, or do I set up accounts?
Water, electric, gas, sewer and internet are all included and paid by us. You get one predictable housing cost, with no accounts to open or close.
Why not just book on Airbnb?
You rent straight from us. We provide the homes ourselves, so there's no middleman and no booking or service fees.
Can you invoice my company?
Yes. Companies can pay directly, and we provide invoices and receipts for company-paid housing. Booking several homes at once goes through one request.

Terafab is going up at Gibbons Creek in Grimes County, northwest of Houston. Our homes are in Bryan–College Station, the closest city with full services.
Bryan is about 19 miles from the site in a straight line, and College Station about 16. We give you the drive time from each home before you book.

I need housing for several workers. Do I have to search every property individually?
No. Send us your crew size, move-in date, expected project length and housing preferences. We house your crew directly in our own homes, with no middleman, so there's nothing to search.
How do I find housing for my crew?
Send us your move-in date, expected length of stay, number of workers, number of vehicles and how you'd like people housed. We use that to put your crew in the right homes.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can, especially for several workers. Larger crews have fewer suitable options than single travelers.
Can I tour a property before booking?
Tours may be possible depending on occupancy. If a home is currently occupied, we avoid disturbing the tenant. Ask us about the specific home you're considering.
Can I book directly?
Yes. We provide the homes ourselves, so we confirm your booking directly as soon as we know which of our homes fit your crew.
What happens after I submit a housing request?
We review your dates, crew size and other needs, then call you with the homes we have open, the beds in each and pricing.

All of our rentals are within 25 miles of the facility, in the closest city to the jobsite with everything workers need.

Drive times depend on the home's exact location and traffic. We give you an estimated drive time for each home so you can compare before booking.

Can you provide housing for an entire construction crew?
Yes. Tell us your crew size, move-in date, expected length of stay and housing preferences, and we'll house your team in our homes.
Can we rent multiple properties at the same time?
Yes, subject to availability. If one home isn't big enough for your whole crew, we put you in several of ours.
Do you work directly with employers and contractors?
Yes. We work with individual workers and with companies arranging housing for employees, contractors and project crews.
Can you accommodate large crews?
We have 35 beds across 16 units. Send us your crew size and dates and we'll tell you how many are open.
Can workers share bedrooms?
Sleeping arrangements vary by home. We'll tell you the bedrooms, beds and maximum occupancy for each one.
Lease terms and length of stay
What is the minimum stay?
Minimum stays vary by home. Contracts are personalized to your project, whether that's a few months or a couple of years.
Can I rent month to month?
Yes. Many of our homes offer month-to-month terms, and every contract is built to be as flexible as your job requires.
What if our project lasts longer than expected?
Tell us as soon as you know. We'll extend your stay when availability allows, or move you to another of our homes.
What if our project finishes earlier than expected?
We ask for 30 days' notice to end a stay early. We know project timelines change.
Can we reserve housing before our exact project dates are final?
Often, yes. Send us your estimated dates and needs and we'll explain your options.

Can I park a work trailer at the property?
Yes, we can accommodate trailers. Not every home has room for one, so tell us ahead of time and we'll put you in one that does.
Is there enough parking for an entire crew?
Each home has parking for one vehicle per bed. If you need more, or you're bringing a trailer, tell us and we'll plan for it.
Pricing and payment
How much does furnished contractor housing cost?
Pricing depends on the home, number of occupants, length of stay, dates and availability. Send us your needs to get current options and pricing.
Is furnished housing cheaper than a hotel?
It can be, especially for longer stays or crews that would need several hotel rooms. And there's no comparison on quality of life: more space, full kitchens, better beds and yards.
Are there additional fees?
No. There are no additional fees.
Can my company pay for the rental?
Yes. Companies arranging housing should contact us with their billing and housing needs.
Can you provide invoices or receipts for our company?
